After 43 months meeting in İmralı

	NEWS CENTER - PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan met with Ömer Öcalan in İmralı for the first time after 43 months. 

	 

	PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan is being held under absolute isolation in İmralı Type F High Security Closed Prison. Öcalan met with his nephew, Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Riha (Urfa) MP Ömer Öcalan after 43 months. 

	 

	Ömer Öcalan stated the following on his virtual media account: “The last face-to-face meeting with Mr. Abdullah Öcalan was on March 3, 2020. As a family, we had a meeting with Mr. Öcalan on October 23, 2024 after many years. We want the routine family meeting, which is a legal right, to continue regardless of the conditions.”
