Imposition of handcuffed examination on prisoners 2025-02-10 15:30:23   RIHA - Prisoners who refused to be examined in handcuffs were taken back to prison without being treated.   Severely ill prisoners Şervan Muhammed and Kerem Bilgin, who are being held in Urfa Type T Closed Prison No 1, were not treated because they refused to be examined in handcuffs.   In their weekly phone calls with their families, the prisoners stated that they were forced by the soldiers to take off their shoelaces in the ring they were taken to the hospital. The prisoners stated that they were taken back to their wards after they rejected this practice.   The prisoners stated that after the soldiers abandoned the practice after their meeting with the prison, they were forced to be examined in handcuffs by the soldiers in the hospital, and the doctor on duty did not make a statement about the removal of the handcuffs, and the prisoners rejected the imposition. Prisoners were taken back to prison without being treated.
