Kurdish Conference in Qamishlo starts tomorrow 2025-04-25 12:26:27   NEWS CENTER - More than 400 delegates are expected to attend the "Rojavayê Kurdistan Unity and Common Attitude Conference" to be held tomorrow in Qamishlo.   The North and East Syria city of Qamishlo is ready for the Kurdish conference. More than 400 delegates from 3 parts of Kurdistan and various cities in Syria are expected to attend the "Rojavayê Kurdistan Unity and Common Attitude Conference" to be held tomorrow in Qamishlo. The conference will be followed by a large number of journalists.   The Preparatory Committee announced that Kurdish political parties, youth and women's organisations, intellectuals, writers, artists, religious figures and community leaders from Rojava, Kurdish personalities from Damascus, Heleb, Hama, Bab and Azaz will attend the conference. Representatives of various political parties from Bakur and Başur (South and North) Kurdistan will participate in the conference, and messages will be sent from Rojhilat (West) and abroad.   FIRST SESSION WILL BE OPEN TO THE PRESS   The conference will start at 10.00 am local time with the election of the council and the opening speech will be delivered by Mazloum Abdi, General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Then, the guests attending the conference will present their views and evaluations. In addition, messages sent to the conference will be read. Following the speeches, the conference will continue closed to the press.   DRAFT WILL BE DISCUSSED   In the parts of the conference closed to the press, the draft of unity and common position that parties, organisations and personalities have worked on before will be read and evaluated. Then it will be finalised and submitted for approval. At the end of the one-day conference, the final declaration will be announced to the public.   The Preparatory Committee stated that more than 200 journalists on behalf of more than 60 press and media organisations will follow the conference.
