ANKARA- Süleyman Soylu, who has promised to 'end the PKK' at least 40 times since he took office as the Minister of Interior, made a statement again that 'a single terrorist will not survive until October 29, 2023".  

 

The Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu met with tradesmen in Ümraniye. Soylu made a statement about the developments on the agenda at the meeting. Soylu, who said that they will hang the Turkish flag on Kandil, said that "there will not be a single terrorist on the borders of our country until October 29, 2023. We know it down to their shoe size."

 

Soylu has been giving similar promises and dates since he took office as the Minister of Interior in 2016. Some of the statements Soylu has made since his appointment to "end the PKK" are as follows:

 

* November 14, 2016 (Istanbul): "They should know that April will not be a good month for them, winter will not be good for them. The name of the PKK will not be mentioned again in this country."

 

* November 29, 2016 (Ankara): "We are not fighting against terrorism, we are liquidating terrorism today."

 

* December 3, 2016 (Diyarbakır): "We are in a period where terrorism will be eliminated especially."

 

* December 8, 2016 (Van): "Today I am saying the good days very clearly. After April, they will face such a great extinction that they cannot predict what will happen to them."

 

* December 14, 2016 (Hakkari): "We will reveal such technological developments in February and March, they will not even dare to come out of the caves."

 

* December 17, 2016 (Kayseri): “God is witness that we will finish them.”

 

* December 25, 2016 (Siirt): “From here, I am saying to the PKK in Kandil; You won't get to spring."
