MARDIN – In Nisêbîn (Nusaybin), residents are making street-by-street calls for people to march toward the border.

 

Ahead of a planned march and a Peoples’ Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party group meeting in Nusaybin district of Mêrdîn (Mardin), calls are being made door to door and street by street for public participation against the attacks targeting North and East Syria.

 

Using megaphones, residents are moving through neighbourhoods urging people to join the mardch and raise a strong voice along the border line. 

 

Meanwhile, many shops in the district remain closed, and residents continue to gather at the Railway Junction in preparation for the march.
