Rojhilat Political Forces Alliance urges public to avoid 'individual acts of revenge'
NEWS CENTER – The Rojhilat Political Forces Alliance has called on people in Rojhilat to refrain from “individual acts of revenge and disorderly actions” amid ongoing US and Israeli attacks on Iran.
The Rojhilat (Iranian Kurdistan) Political Forces Alliance issued a written statement regarding the attacks launched by Israel and the United States against Iran. In the statement, titled “We are facing the most critical days in our history,” it said the regime had become a target as a result of the policies it has pursued.
The statement said the government’s approach had led to economic collapse and left the country in ruin. It added that the reported killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, along with a number of senior military commanders and political officials, had accelerated what it described as a process of collapse.
The alliance said the conflict should not be seen as a war between the people of Iran and the United States, Israel or the wider international community. Instead, it described the situation as a consequence of what it called the “dictatorial and repressive” policies of the Islamic Republic, accusing it of stripping citizens of their rights and killing thousands of protesters in recent months.
Calling on the public to act with “maturity and awareness”, the group urged people to closely follow developments and align their political stance with the alliance’s recommendations. It also stressed that during any period of instability or popular uprising, public institutions and essential services should be protected.
Addressing security forces in Kurdistan, the statement called on them to distance themselves from the Islamic Republic and “stand with their nation”. It reiterated that people should avoid actions that could harm public safety, including revenge attacks or uncoordinated acts of violence.
The alliance further advised residents to stay away from military and security sites linked to the authorities for their own safety. It also called for solidarity in the days ahead, urging shopkeepers, traders and property owners to support tenants and low-income families.
The Rojhilat Political Forces Alliance said it would share further updates on its policies and plans in future statements.
