ŞIRNAK - AKP members going to Cizre to speak to the locals about the ongoing electricity problem in Dirsekli village, said: "Give us 100 members and we'll solve your electricity problems."

 

Citizens' electricity problem has not been solved for 3 years in the residential area within the borders of Dirsekli village of Cizre district of Şırnak. The applications of the citizens who repeatedly wrote petitions to Dicle Elektrik A.Ş. were inconclusive. The AKP Provincial Presidency, which they applied to solve the problem said they will visit the villagers in the evening.

 

The delegation, including AKP Şırnak Provincial Chair İbrahim Halil Erkan, Cizre District Chair Akif Özalp and AKP Şırnak Women's Branch Chair Hatice Atan, came to the village with an army of guards and had a meeting with the villagers at the village headman Halil Acar's house. It was learned that the AKP committe told the villagers that they will solve the electricity problem if 100 people in the village becomes members to AKP.

 

One of the citizens who attended the meeting said: "We wouldn't have evacuated our villages if we were ever going to vote for you." AKP members said they would solve the problem if 5 people became members when people reacted. Not being able to get what they want, AKP delegation have left the village.
