76 people detained in Kadıköy released

İSTANBUL - The İstanbul Governorate reported that the 76 people detained in Kadıköy last night who were protesting the trustee rector Melih Bulu was released.
 
The Governorship of Istanbul announced that 76 people, who were taken into custody in Kadıköy last night in a protest against Melih Bulu, the rector appointed to Boğaziçi University was released. 
 
According to the information shared by Boğaziçi Solidarity, while 228 students were detained, the İstanbul Governorate announced that there were only 105 people under custody.
 
While 29 of the 94 students were processed with the instruction of Public Prosecutor's Office, 65 people were released after giving their statements to the police. 11 Students were detained in Beşiktaş and Sarıyer trying to get to Kadıköy. They are all released as well.
