İSTANBUL - Calling for participation in the march to Gemlik for Öcalan's physical freedom, DBP Co-Chair Saliha Aydeniz said, "The physical freedom of Ms. Öcalan is the solution to the whole crisis, the deadlock and it is the way out."

 

Democratic Society Congress (DTK), Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK), Free Women's Movement (TJA), Democratic Regions Party (DBP), Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and MED Federation of Legal and Solidarity Associations for Families of Prisoners and Convicts (MED-TUHAD- FED) will organize the “Great Gemlik March” on June 12 with the slogan “We are marching to Gemlik to defend freedom against the isolation policy” to draw attention to the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who has not been heard from for more than a year.

 

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE MARCH

 

Stating that everyone should support the march to be held on June 12, Aydeniz said, "We have planned this march to say that the time has come for Mr. Öcalan's physical freedom against the isolation policy turning into a form of government. We will march to Gemlik from all provinces.  We invite everyone who wants physical freedom of Öcalan to come to Gemlik on June 12."
