ANKARA - Stating that the resistance of the women of the Middle East will always have a positive effect on each other, RAWA spokesperson Rawi said: "The gains in Kurdistan will lead to gains in Iran and the gains in Iran will lead to gains in Afghanistan."

The protests that errupted in Iran after the murder of Jîna Mahsa Aminî by the "morality police" continue. The Revolutionary Women's Association of Afghanistan (RAWA), which has been fighting against reactionism in Afghanistan since the late 1970s, published a message of solidarity with Iranian women. Rawa said: "Mahsa in Iran and Elahe in Afghanistan are not the first victims of the brutality of fundamentalism. For forty years, women in both countries have been tried to be held captive by their oppressive systems, chains of ignorance, barbarism and misogynists."

'GREETINGS TO THE REBELLIOUS PEOPLES OF IRAN'

Pointing out that women have no choice but to fight together to break this chain, the statement said: “Women's struggle must be united against the colossal enemy fundamentalists, conspiratorial forces and defenders of criminals. The bravery of women can only be fruitful when they oust the evil elements and merchants. We express our solidarity with the Iranian Freedom Movement and have full confidence that the epic rise of the people, and especially the brave Iranian women, will eventually throw the bloodthirsty and hateful 'Velayat Faqih' (religious and political authority) regime into the dustbin. From a hell called Afghanistan, we offer eternal greetings to the rebellious people of Iran. We share your pain.”

'YOUR RESISTANCE GIVES US HOPE'

Speaking to Mezopotamya Agency (MA), RAWA spokesperson Rawi underlined that the resistance of the people of the Middle East will always have a positive effect on each other and said: "The gains in Kurdistan will lead to gains in Iran and the gains in Iran will lead to gains in Afghanistan. This gives us hope, strength and courage."

'MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU'

Noting that it is very important for men to fight shoulder to shoulder with women in Iran, Rawi said, “Religious fanatics torture us all. Men should always be shoulder to shoulder with women. Our countries need this. For inter-country solidarity, we should read more and learn more about each other. Then they can not break us into pieces in the name of ethnicity or religion. We, the RAWA women send our solidarity and love to the women of Iran. May the force be with you!"
