DİYARBAKIR - Mothers of Peace said that in addition to Turkey, which uses chemical weapons, international forces and the Barzani family under the KDP are also guilty.

 

The repercussions of Turkey's use of chemical weapons against HPG members in the attacks carried out since April 17 in the Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn regions of the Federated Kurdistan Region continue. Peace Mothers in Diyarbakır condemned the attacks.

 

MOTHERS OF PEACE CONDEMNED THE CHEMICAL WEAPONS

 

Noting that the use of chemical weapons is a crime against humanity, Peace Mother Sabiha Tamriş said: "Everyone says they have human rights. Doesn't anyone consider Kurds as human beings? So many of our children are being killed, no one sees it? We condemn it. Why is Europe silent? Isn't this a crime? This is a crime. If it's war, it's war, but what is a chemical weapon? If Barzani did not support Turkey, they would not have been able to enter there. What is done to us today will be done to them tomorrow.  All Kurds need to stand up. Enough is enough. How long are we going to experience these things? If Europe didn't support them, they wouldn't be able to do these things in life. We condemn all of them."

 

THEY SHOULD BE PROSECUTED

 

Stating that what happened did not connect with humanity, Peace Mother Mevlüde Atsız said: "I condemn those who commit this crime. We never accept this persecution. As long as we exist, we stand behind our children. Whoever gave this instruction should also be prosecuted. If the KDP did not allow it, the state could not do it either. It was at the hands of the KDP. We will fight against it as much as we can. All Kurds should stand up and not remain silent in the face of this situation."

 

'THE SECOND CRIMINAL IS BARZANI'

 

Condemning European countries that remain silent against the use of chemical weapons, Peace Mother Emine Deniz said: "These crimes are committed by the hands of the states because chemical weapons are prohibited everywhere. If the states do not give them, they cannot use them. The second criminal is Barzani. I also condemn Barzani. The blood of the Kurds is on their hands. He is not a Kurd. If he were a Kurd, he would not have done these things. This is inhumane.” Anne Deniz said: "After those images, none of us could sleep that night. Those with a conscience cannot look at those images. No one's conscience can take those images. No mother can stand those images. This cruelty is unacceptable. We condemn and curse the situation."
