AĞRI - It has been stated that a citizen named Mehmet Kılıç, who opened fire in the air because he had psychological problems, was executed by the police after tear gas bombs were thrown at his house in Bazîd district of Agirî. The Kılıç family said: “They executed them in front of our eyes.”

 

65-year-old Mehmet Kılıç, who had psychological problems in the Uluyol neighbourhood in Bazîd district of Ağrı, went out to the balcony of his house and fired two shots into the air during the night. Thereupon, the police went to the neighborhood and surrounded the house. The police, who threw gas bombs into the house for hours, then entered the house. The police, who stayed at home for about a minute, then went out. When the Kılıç family and citizens entered the house, they found Mehmet Kılıç murdered. It was learned that 5 bullets hit Kılıç in the chest and one bullet in the head, and it was stated that after Kılıç's death, the police called the firefighters and had the house washed.

 

'POLICE EXECUTED HIM RIGHT BEFORE MY EYES'  

 

Giving information about what happened, Kılıç's family said: “The police called us and asked us to come in front of the house. When we went there, we saw our brother shooting into the air. So he was shooting the wall of his own house. We said to the police that we should enter, we will persuade him, but they did not let us. They threw gas bombs inside the house for hours. After throwing gas bombs, there was no sound from inside for a long time. So our brother had already passed out from that gas. Then the police broke down the doors and entered. These gunshots started coming. After a while, the cops came out and called the fire brigade to wash the house. When we entered the house after washing, the body of our brother was covered with blood. Our brother was executed there even though he fainted. Police executed him right before our eyes. We, as family members, reacted and tried to enter, but they did not allow it. This is an execution and we will file a complaint against the cops as soon as possible.”

Meanwhile, bullet marks were found all over the house, and the police sealed the house where Kılıç was killed.
