Police confiscated the truck sent by the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) from Izmir to Osmaniye to help. The police, who seized the truck on the grounds that it did not have the "governor's permit", detained the truck driver and his nephew, who had set off with him, and Ömer Turhan, who voluntarily took part in the distribution of aid. After the police battered HDP Osmaniye Provincial Co-chair Celal Eker, a brawl broke out as the people went out and condemned. During the brawl, the police insulted the public.

According to the information given by the HDP Coordination Center; In Osmaniye, aid was not distributed adequately to the districts with HDP voters, and upon the request they received, an aid truck was sent.

HDP Adana MP Kemal Peköz shared the following message on his Twitter: "While the party was going to be dispersed in front of our party building, which was sent to Osmaniye from İzmir, the security forces taunted the people, took the truck and took it to an unknown place and prevented the distribution. The government, which does not help, also prevents voluntary aid. I hope they should drown in their oppression. While there are thousands of people under the rubble, state can say, 'We did not leave anyone out, we will not.' Wasn't it enough that they left people under the rubble? It has been 7 days, while there are still unreachable towns.”
