ŞIRNAK - Chief village ranger Arslan Tatar, who has partnered with the government in all matters from the plundering of the nature of Şırnak to the construction of new police stations and the attacks against Afrin, has been nominated by the AKP in Şırnak.

Political parties submitted the list of candidates to be nominated in the May 14 elections to the Supreme Election Board (YSK) on April 9. There are remarkable names on the lists of parties in Şırnak. Aiming to have 4 MPs in the city, the Green Left Party nominated Newroz Uysal, Mehmet Zeki İrmez, Ayşegül Doğan and Bedirhan Osal, lawyers of the Asrın Law Office.

In the lists of other parties, names of people who have been village guards since the 1990s were included. MHP beats Halil Tatar in 1st place; Again Welfare Party, Sabri Tatar; The Victory Party nominated Mahmut Tatar as a candidate. The AKP, on the other hand, nominated the head guard Arslan Tatar, who always sided with the party that has always been in power, as the first candidate.

PERIOD OF UNSOLVED MURDERS

The AKP's candidate, Tatar, is the son of Mehmet Tatar, who was elected as a Şırnak MP from the True Path Party in the 1995 general elections. The father Tatar took sides with DYB, which was under the management of names such as Tansu Çiller and Mehmet Ağar, who came to the agenda with unsolved murders in the 1990s and 2000s. The father Tatar was the executive of special war policies in Şırnak during his time as a member of parliament. While the father Tatar was a DYP MP, he played a role in the spread of village rangers with the proposals he presented to the Parliament on October 27, 2005.

TATAR PLUNDERS THE CITY!

Arslan Tatar also followed his father's footsteps. Tatar, whose one branch is in the MHP, came closer to power with the strengthening of the AKP. Arslan Tatar and his village rangers took an active part in the curfews announced in Şırnak between 2015-2016. The village rangers, close to Tatar, came to the fore with the torture of the funerals.

Tatar began to play a more active role in the region after Süleyman Soylu became the Minister of Interior; it almost became Soylu's hand, arm and foot. Tatar, who pioneered the construction of police stations and fortresses in Cudi, Gabar and Besta, is also a partner in the deforestation that has been going on for years. It is known that Tatar's relatives also earned economic income from the construction of police stations and fortresses, as well as from tree cutting.

Tatar, who often takes a helicopter tour of the city, posing with government officials who come to the region, also regularly visits military base areas. Tatar, who also made a great profit from the natural riches of the city, placed his relatives in all the institutions of the state after getting close to Soylu.

PARTNER OF AFRIN ATTACKS

Tatar also played an active role in the Turkish attacks on the city of Afrin in Northern and Eastern Syria on January 20, 2018. In a statement he made at that time, Tatar stated that he supported the attacks against Afrin and stated that some village rangers could take part in the attacks.
