ŞIRNAK - Cizîr Municipality trustee decided to bid for the third time for the sale of the old service building.

 

In the Cizîr district of Şırnak, the municipal trustee has put out a tender for the third time to sell the old service building belonging to the municipality. It has been stated that the old service building will be put out to tender on May 23 with a closed bid method, and the tender price has been determined as 65 million TL.

 

The trustee, who was appointed to the Cizre Municipality in 2016, donated the old service building, parks and different immovables belonging to the municipality to many institutions, especially the Cizre District Governor's Office. The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) co-mayors, who took the Cizre Municipality from the trustees after the 2019 local elections, had to take back the immovables donated by the trustee. HDP Cizre Municipality co-mayors, who brought many legal cases on this issue, were dismissed before the trials were concluded, and a trustee was appointed in their place.

 

UNSOLD MUNICIPAL BUILDING TENDERED FOR THE THIRD TIME

 

The old service building of the Cizre Municipality, which was previously illegally donated to the Cizre District Governor's Office by the trustee, was returned to the municipality. Cizre Municipality trustee Davut Sinanoğlu put this real estate up for sale for 36 million TL in 2021, and Mehmet Tunç, who was newly appointed instead of trustee Sinanoğlu, put the same building up for sale again in 2022 with a closed tender procedure for 55 million TL. The unsold municipal building is again put up for sale, this time by the trustee Nazlı Demir, who was appointed to replace Tunç last year, with a closed tender procedure for 65 million TL.

 

TWO ACRES

 

The municipality shared the following statements about the real estate: “It is located on the Sah Mahallesi Sevgi Street, the busiest street in Cizre, on Bankalar Street, next to the Cizre Government Office. Our immovable is adjacent to a commercial area, and it has a 7-floor zoning status certificate for a Two-Storey Masonry Building with Courtyard, Outbuildings and Partial Commercial. There are three entrance roads to our property, namely front, side and rear.”

 

The tender for the real estate, which is built on an area of approximately two acres (one thousand 982 meters), on an 880 block and 3 parcels, will be held on May 23.
