NEWS CENTER - At least 177 people were detained in cities that received high votes for the Green Left Party before the presidential elections, which went to the second round.

The AKP-MHP government, which pressed the button after the presidential elections went to the second round, continues to put pressure on the Kurdish voters in particular. Dozens of people were detained in the operations that took place consecutively in the cities where the Greens and Left Party (Green Left Party) and Presidential candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu had a high percentage of votes.

Among those detained were members and executives of the Green Left Party and the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), which was interpreted as the will of the voters in the second round of the elections and the desire to put pressure on the ballot boxes. In particular, the efforts of the Minister of Interior and AKP MP Süleyman Soylu to criminalize some voters with their targeting and unproven statements continue. Again, perception operations continue for the AKP administrators to get Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu high votes from the cities of Kurdistan.

The operations in this process were first launched on May 22. Despite the fact that 2 months have passed since the Newroz celebrations, 19 people were detained in the operation launched in 5 cities based in Ankara on the grounds that they participated in these celebrations. HDP members were detained along with HDP Party Assembly (PM) Member Bedriye Irmak on the allegation of "terrorist propaganda". The security procedures of 19 people whose detention period has been extended are still continuing.

177 people, including Democratic Regions Party (DBP), Çukurova Prisoners and Convict Families and Assistance Association (Çukurova TUAY-DER) executives and their relatives, HDP executives, journalists, musicians, DİSK Genel-İş Mardin Branch President Rahmi Güneş and his wife and children, Green Left Party executives, those who participated in May 1 and many citizens, were detained in raid house with "members of a terrorist organization".
