ÊLIH - Stating that they will organize street by street with the campaign they started, TJA activist Ruken Zeryam Işık Yıldız said: "We will be the answer to the issues of isolation, women and nature massacres, child abuse, unlawfulness in prisons and many other problems."

The Free Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA) started a new campaign that will last until March 8, International Women's Day, with the motto "Bi jin jiyan azadiyê ber bi azadiyê ve (Towards freedom with Jin jiyan azadî)" with the declaration published on September 15. During the campaign, a series of actions and events will be held against the absolute isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, special war policies, femicide, nature massacre and oppression on the mother tongue. TJA, which will also strengthen its organizational efforts with the campaign, aims to build a strong line of struggle against special war policies.

TJA activist Ruken Zeryam Işık Yıldız made evaluations about the campaign launched.

TARGET IS TO STRENGTHEN ORGANIZATION

Stating that their campaign is multi-dimensional, Yıldız said: "We will organize street by street. With the campaign, attention will be drawn to child abuse, the massacre of women and nature, violations in prisons, isolation and the destruction caused by the use of chemical weapons with the campign. The aim is to create a struggle network around these agendas and to mobilize public opinion. The campaign will be carried out according to the uniqueness of each region. Everyone will make a plan on how to solve the problems in their region, how to fight, and carry out their work accordingly. We will run a campaign in which theory and practice will be put into action simultaneously. We will discuss life with women's workshops. We will expose the dirty mentality of men and their aim of enslaving women and carry out a study accordingly. In fact, we will first identify the problem and then find a solution. This campaign is also an organization campaign. We will travel from village to village, neighborhood to neighborhood and meet with women. Yıldız, who self-criticized that the organizational aspect was weak in previous campaigns. We will come together with society and carry out this struggle. We have fallen short in this regard before. That's why this campaign will be a self-critical campaign."

'WOMEN WILL RESPOND TO ALL PROBLEMS'

Underlining that every field should be turned into a field of struggle, Yıldız continued: “Every woman should raise her voice for her rights. Every aspect of life, from the village to the neighborhood, should be transformed into a field of struggle. In the 'Em xwe diparêzin(We are protecting ourselves)' campaign, we saw how women's organized struggle was reflected in society and how it led. In this campaign, we will not work within four walls. We will go to the field and fight. We will respond to the massacre of women, isolation, child abuse, nature massacre, lawlessness in prisons and many other problems.”
