NEWS CENTER –  A call was made to all international organizations to take a stand and take urgent steps with the campaign launched against Turkey's attacks on Northern and Eastern Syria.

 

A signature campaign has been launched against Turkey, which continues its attacks against civilians in the Northern and Eastern Syrian Autonomous Region. The campaign launched under the leadership of the Northern and Eastern Syria Social Diplomacy Platform was titled "Urgent Call to Action: Stop the War Against Humanity in Northern and Eastern Syria".

 

The signature text of the campaign, which was launched with the cooperation of many civil and democratic organizations from different countries, was opened for signature online on the internet.

 

In the signature text prepared in 3 languages, English, Spanish and Portuguese, a call was made to all international organizations for Turkey to take a stand against the attacks and to take urgent steps.

 

The campaign has received signatures so far from many organizations, platforms and human rights defenders, especially human rights institutions operating in countries such as Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, India, China, USA, Germany, England and Iraq.

 

SIGNATURES WILL BE SENT TO THE UN AND THE HAGUE

 

According to the information shared by members of the Northern and Eastern Syria Social Diplomacy Platform, the end date of the campaign has not been determined yet. The collected signatures will then be sent to the United Nations, the Hague International Court of Justice and other relevant international organizations, accompanied by an open letter.
