3 prisoners on hunger strike exiled

MERSIN – Çukurova TUAY-DER reported that 3 prisoners who continued their hunger strike in 2 prisons were exiled to different prisons. It stated that Mehmet Darga, who has been prisoner for 32 years, had his release postponed and was placed in solitary confinement.
 
The pressure in prisons continues to increase against the hunger strikes that started in 106 prisons on November 27 with the motto "Freedom for PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan and a solution to the Kurdish issue" and continue in 107 prisons. According to the information provided by the families to the Çukurova Association for Assistance with the Families of Prisoners and Convicts (Çukurova TUAY-DER), the prisoners who continued their hunger strike were exiled to other prisons this time.
 
Rıdvan Irme and Halil Muratoğlu, who were detained in Denizli Type L Prison, were exiled to Samsun Kavak S Type Prison. Mehmet Erbey, who was in Tekirdağ Type F Closed Prison, was exiled to İzmir Buca High Security Prison.
 
In addition, Mehmet Darga, who has been prisoner for 32 years in Giresun Espiye Type L Prison, was placed in solitary confinement and his release was postponed by the decision of the Security Council, even though his sentence was over.
