NEWS CENTER - 7 women artists were banned from singing in Iran.
Iranian intelligence forces summoned 7 women artists to testify in Behbehani district of Khuzestan province on 16 April. It was reported that the female artists were forcibly made to sign a document stating that they were banned from singing, attending women's meetings, playing musical instruments and engaging in artistic activities on digital media.
The artists banned from singing are as follows: Ilahe Ahmadi, Mehsan Ihtirami, Negin Mansuri Nejad, Azardext Tahirpur, Ramish Seyed, Mujdeed Nasiri and Zulfa Jamshiyani.
