DİYARBAKIR- CHP parliamentarian Sezgin Tanrıkulu who reacted to the prohibition of the sit in protests of the Saturday mothers and the relatives of the losses said; We will read the inhibited declarations in the parliament every week.

 

The weekly sit-in protests of the Saturday mothers got banned by the minister of the interior due to public safety in İstanbul, Diyarbakır and Batman.

 

Republican People's Party CHP) parliamentarian Sezgin Tanrıkulu stated that the prohibition is unlawful and it clearly shows that Turkey is in a transformation from democracy to autocracy.

 

Tanrıkulu who emphasized that they will support the protest of the Saturday mothers in the parliament added; "We will support Saturday Mothers in their protest by reading the inhibited statement in the parliament. We will support their persistence in justice. Those statements used to be read on the streets, now it will be read in the parliament. It will either be read in the press releases, or in general assemblies.”
