Warrants for 151 due to anonymous tips

DİYARBAKIR- The operation took place today which ended up raiding 183 adresses and arresting more than 100 people  turned out to be based upon an anonymous tip.
 
In an operation based in Diyarbakır, and conducted in other 8 cities, 183 adresses were raided and more than 100 people including journalists Abdurrahman Gök, Esra Solin Dal, Semiha Alankuş ve Kibriye Evren and several Kurdish politicians were arrested.
 
ANONYMOUS TIP
 
Attorney Resul Tamur who went to the detention center after the arrests, had seen journalist Abdurrahman Gök for legal advice. Tamur , who spoke with the authorities learned that everyone got arrested due to the same anonymous tip.
 
WARRANTS FOR 151
 
Tamur said: "The reason for arrests turned out to be an anonymous tip. But the tip did not include any names. The caller claimed that there were secret meetings in houses aspiring organising. The operation started because of this call. Even though no names were given, authorities issued warrants for 151 people."
