İSTANBUL- 5 people 2 of them being children are being kept at the Zurich Airport for 40 days now. Those 5 people are wanted to be extradited to South Africa. The family's request to meet with Consulate General of Switzerland is denied.

 

Nasrettin Kıyat, Kudret Kakaeva, Edibe Doğan who are wanted with a warrant in Turkey and 2 children are being kept at the Zurich airport of Switzerland. Asylum requests of the 5 people who came from Kurdistan Federal District to South Africa and then to Switzerland is denied. They might be sent back to South Africa.

 

The families have made a written statement . Doğan and Kıyat who stated that their families are being kept at the airport for 40 days, added that they are almost living like prisoners and said: " We are being deprevied of fresh air which is a basic need. The conditions are not appropriate for children and the deterioration of their mood is visible.
