İSTANBUL- Like DTK Co-chair Leyla Güven, DBP Co-chair Sabahat Tuncel and 14 other women started a hunger strike for 10 days with the same demand of lifting the segregation in İmralı and said Güven’s demand is the demand of millions.

Tuncel have shared this message in the name of all prisoners: “ The demand of Leyla Güven is not only her demand but also the demand of millions of Kurdish people and their friends.Therefore, in terms of the struggle fort he people of our country, democracy and liberty and for a honourable peace, liberty of Mr. Öcalan is a historical threshold. The segregation and isolation of Mr. Öcalan must be stopped immediately in terms of hs health, security and liberty. Upon this demand, me and 14 other women have started a hunger strike for 10 days. We are calling on to the forces of democracy to own this demand and support the struggle of liberty.”
