ANKARA- HDP Central Executive Committee  is gathering. The agenda of the meeting is the hunger strike initiated by Leyla Güven for the termination of isolation, the local elections and the approval of the penalties imposed on the elected deputies.

 

The HDP Central Executive Committee  meets at the headquarters of the party. CEC's agenda includes local elections, hunger strikes and prison sentences for politicians.

 

HDP discussed the method of nominating candidates and announced that there would be candidate elections. The cities to hold elections will be determined at the Central Executive Committee  meeting. HDP will not hold candidate nominating elections in the cities where they go to the elections with alliences.It will also be decided whether the application for a candidacy will expire on December 5th.

 

 

EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN FOR LEYLA GÜVEN

 

 While Leyla Güven is on the 29th day of her hunger strike with the demand of ending the isolation imposed on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, CEC is talking about an emergency action plan for Leyla Güven.
