ANKARA- A warrant for custody was issued for 12 people including Journalist Kenan Kırkaya whose houses was raided by the police early this morning. The search in Kırkaya's apartment continues.

 

In the scope of 2 different operations, part of the people taken under custody turned out to be the people who were discharged with a law decree. Kenan Kırkaya and HDP Ankara Provincial Administrator Abuzer Kısa was searched for another operation. While the reason for the operation could not be learned, the people taken under custody was brought to Provincial Security Directorate.

 

The people taken under custody are: HDP Ankara Provincial Administrator Abuzer Kısa, Murat Çeşme, Gülnaz Bozkurt, Simge Aksan, Mahmut Konuk, Özge Çırpan, Burak Aydemir, Selvi Polat, Mehmet Dersulu and İlker Işık.

 

Journalist Kenan Kırkaya was not at home during the raid and the search in his apartment continues.
