NEWS DESK- After Diyarbakır and Batman, Peace Mothers and TJA Activist 14 women was taken under custody around 05.00 A.M from Van Provincial Organization building.
With the demand of lifting the aggravated isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, Tevgera Jinên Azada (TJA- Free Women's Movement) and Peace Mothers have started a hunger strike in 3 cities supporting DTK Co-chair and HDP Hakkari Parliamentarian Leyla Güven who has been in a indefinite and non-rotating hunger strike for 33 days. After starting the 3 day hunger strikes, HDP buildings in Diyarbakır and Batman was raided by the police. As a result of those raids, 25 people in Diyarbakır and 29 people in Batman was taken under custody by force.
After the police raid in Diyarbakır and Batman, HDP Van Provincial Organization where the next hunger strike should began was raided by the police too.
14 people from Peace Mothers and TJA Activists was raided by the police at 05.00 A.M and brought to Provincial Security Directorate.
