Peoples 'Democratic Party Co-chairs Pervin Buldan and Sezai Temelli have  issued a written message celebrating the Christmas Day of the Christian community.

 

"We celebrate the holiday that the Christian community celebrates as Christmas Day with the most sincere wishes on behalf of our party, and we hope that it will be instrument in inter-religious tolerance, brotherhood and peace.

 

We maintain and hope to be a country where no identity, culture, faith or language are considered superior to the other, where every citizen lives together under equal conditions and freely develops its culture.

 

We are committed to continuing our struggle for a democratic republic and a common homeland where people live free, equally and humane. 

 

We hope that these holidays will strengthen feelings of brotherhood and solidarity in these hard days the people living in Middle East go through paying vital prices."
