PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan's brother Mehmet Öcalan, sister Fatma Öcalan and legal guardian Mazlum Dinç have applied to Bursa  Chief Prosecutor's Office to see Öcalan who is being kept at İmralı Supermaz Type F Closed Prison.

 

The families of the other prisoners in İmralı, Hamili Yıldırım's brother Polat Yıldırım, Ömer Hayri Konar's brother Ali Konar and Veysel Aktaş's sister Sabiha Aslan also applied to the prosecution's office via their lawyers.

 

Mehmet Öcalan have last seen PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan on January 12 for the first time after September 11, 2016.

 

THE APPLICATION OF THE ATTORNEYS WAS REJECTED AGAIN  

 

Bursa Chief Prosecutor's office have denied the 788th application of the attorneys made to visit PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan

 

The 788th application made by the attorneysFaik Özgür Erol, Nevroz Uysal, İbrahim Bilmez and Cengiz Yürekli have made to visit PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan was rejected again by the prosecutors office. The Attorney General's Office rejected the application of the lawyers, citing the "restrictions imposed on convicts pursuant to the Law no. 5275 on the Execution of Criminal and Security Measures".

 

The applications the lawyers made have been rejected for reasons such as "adverse weather conditions", "Coaster is broken" , "state of emergency" and at last "disciplinary penalty since July 27, 2011
