BATMAN- Nasır Yağız HDP Representative member who has been on a hunger strike for 84 days, says the philosophy that keeps him alive is the 20 year resistance of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan in isolation.

 

The hunger strike Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party Hakkari Deputy Leyla Güven is in its 97th day, the hunger strike of Federal Kurdistan Disctrict, Hewlêr HDP Representative member Nasır Yağız is in its 84th day.

 

 

Nasır Yağız who had to move to Federal Kurdistan District because of the oppression of Turkey in February 2018, said he has no demands for himself, but in order to stop the deaths the isolation must be terminated.

 

 

Yağız who was hospitalized a few days ago due to the effects of the hunger strike said: "My health is how it is supposed to be. Don't be worried about me. I am prepared for everything.I do not have any demands about me. I am happy that I am fulfilling my resposibility to an insurgent community. I will continue my hunger strike until we succeed.I am as determined as the day I started this hunger strike. I am continuing my hunger strike consciously."
