DİYARBAKIR- Emrah Ubiç who has been on a hunger strike for 50 days in Kırıkkale Type F Prison, said the people need to form a strong circle around PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

 

The hunger strikes initiated by Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair Leyla Güven with the demand of terminating the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan is continuing. Emrah Ubiç who has been on a hunger strike since December 26, gave information about his health in a letter he sent.

 

Ubiç who stated that a hunger strike is an extended and a tough battle with the other side spread over a long period of time, said: "To enter this war, you must have a strong will. You need to have faith, a dream, an utopia to form a basis to this will. You have to know what you want and why you want it to enter this battle."
