ANKARA- Supreme Electoral Council  (YSK) announced that in the event of the cancellation of the March 31 Local Elections, the renewal will take place on June 2.

 

In the decision published in the Official Gazette of the YSK, according to the Law No. 2972 on the Selection of Local Administrations and Neighborhood Mukhtars and Elder Committees, it was stated  when the next election would be made if the election was canceled due to election procedures.

 

In the decision, it was stated that the elections that should be re-made are the repetition and continuation of the election, therefore  voting should be repeated.
