ISTANBUL - Supreme Committee of Elections (YSK) President Sadi Guven said that Ekrem Imamoglu has 4 million 159 thousand 650 votes and Binali Yıldırım has 4 million 131 thousand 761 votes. Ekrem İmamoğlu stated that they are leading the race in Istanbul and that the YSK data should be shared by all media organizations.
CHP Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu have made a statement for the 11th time. Imamoglu said: ' According to the data of the YSK, 99.74 percent of the ballot boxes are in the system. The number of ballot boxes that are not yet in the system are 82. The difference of the vote rates is 27 thousand 806. The mathematical process of this election is now over. I think all broadcasters can share the data of YSK. "
According to the statement YSK President Sadi Güven have made regarding the unofficial results of the election, Ekrem İmamoğlu is leading with 27 thousand 889 votes. Güven announced that İmamoğlu has 4 million 159 thousand 650 votes while Binali Yıldırım has 4 million 131 thousand 761 votes.
Sadi Güven said: " AA is not my customer. I dont serve information to them. We have shared over 80 percent of data as soon as they got in the system with the political parties. We have a little more time ahead before we know for certain. 84 ballot boxes are not yet in the system because there are objections about them. Provincial electoral boards make their decisions in 2 days. YSK has 3 more days to assess the objections."
