Humans's Rights Association (İHD) İstanbul and Adana Branches organized demonstrations in order to draw attention to the sick prisoners. In Ankara, Freedom to Sick Prisoners Initiative shared information on deaths in prisons.
İHD Co-chair Öztürk Türkdoğan, reminding that there are thousands of prisoners on hunger strike demanding the termination of the isolation in İmralı, said: "If the isolation issue is not resolved, the number of sick prisoner will raise. It will come to a point that it will be a tragedy for humanity. The execution must be regulated and all sick prisoners must be released."
