NEWS DESK - Prisoners who were on hunger strike and death fast in Van, Ağrı and Erzurum Prisons are being transferred to hospitals. The prisoners who doesn't accept treatment that do not comply with the hunger strike protocol are being taken back to prisons.
The transfer of the prisoners in Van High Security Prison, Type F and Type T Prisons, Erzurum Oltu and Ağrı Patnos prisons are continuing. According to the information recieved some of the prisoners did not accept treatment because of the condition of the wards in the prison and the hospitals.
In 3 prisons in Van, a total of 307 prisoners, 6 of which was on a death fast, have ended their stikes. Their transfers to hospitals continue in the Education and Research hospital.While 4 prisoners were admitted to the hospital, 4 other prisoners were sent back to prison after a short health check. Özcan Ayhan who was on a death fast did not accept the treatment and was sent back the prison.
According to the information obtained, many prisoners were sent to hospitals this morning with a prison service.
