DİYARBAKIR - Police attacked a group of HDP executives and supporters who wanted to make a press conference in front of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality to protest the seizure of HDP-run municipalities.
After the government seized Amed Metropolitan Municipality, HDP deputies, co-mayors and party executives marched towards the town hall.
The Ministry of Interior has appointed trustees to Diyarbakır, Mardin and Van Metropolitan Municipalities.
Following the dismissal of Seljuk Mızraklı, co-mayor of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, HDP deputies, municipal co-mayors and party executives started to march from HDP provincial building to municipal building.
HDP deputies, municipal co-mayors and party executives wanted to make a statement in front of the metropolitan municipality after the march.
