People's Democratic Party (HDP) Women's Assembly organized a rally protesting the Ministry of Interrior appointing trustees to the metropolitan municipalities of Diyarbakır, Van and Mardin on September3, with the slogan 'Co-chair system is our purple line'. An investigation was launched for the rally.

 

Van Security Directorate summoned Van Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Bedia Özgökçe, Erciş Co-Mayor Yıldız Çetin, Tuşba Co-Mayor Ayşe Minaz, İpekyolu Co-Mayor Şehzade Kurt, Muradiye Co-mayor Caziye Duman, Hakkari Co-Mayor Seher Kadiroğlu ataş, HDP Van Provincial Co-chair Yadişen Karabulak for deposition in scope of the investigation launched by Van Chief Prosecutor's Office.
