ANKARA - Veysi Eski, attorney of former HDP Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ, stating thatt he court board is trying to close the case hastily, said: "The court sent the file to the prosecutor's office to review the case, but the defense has not yet finished."

 

The 15 th hearing of the case about former People's Democratic Party (HDP) Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ will be held in Ankara 16th High Criminal Court.

 

The hearing in which Yüksekdağ is accused of 'Managing an illegal organization', 'Opposition to the law on meetings and demonstrations', 'Inciting hatred and emnity' and 'Inciting to commit crime' will start at 10.00 A.M tomorrow. Yüksekdağ will personally attend the hearing to be held tomorrow at the Sincan Prison Campus. 

 

Eski stating that the court board is trying to close the case hastily, said: "The main indication to prove this point is the fact that they demanded opinion from the prosecution before the defense is done in this case consisting of tens of summaries."

 

Eski said: "The prosecution will be there with their opinion ready while Ms. Yüksekdağ is making her defense. The court sent the file to the public prosecutor for consideration between the sessions but the defense is not over yet. The prosecutor will prepare an opinion without considering the defense of Ms. Yüksekdağ."
