One day recess to 14 schools in 9 districts of İstanbul

İSTANBUL - The Emergency Management Center of İstanbul Governorship has announced that it has received notices of damage for 464 buildings after İstanbul earthquake. Education at 14 schools in 9 cities has also been suspended.

The Center has also shared information about the situation of schools in İstanbul. Indicating that 55 of the schools which were reported to be damaged as a result of the earthquake have been checked, it has announced that education has been suspended for a day at 14 schools that are foreseen to undergo a more detailed technical examination.
 
"There are no findings that point at a need to suspend education in 7,046 other schools", the Center as indicated further.
 
The one-day suspension is in effect in the following schools:
