NEWS CENTER - DBP Co-Chair Saliha Aydeniz announced that a gun was held to Sur Municipality Co-Mayor Filiz Buluttekin's head while she was being taken into custody.
Police raided the Sur Municipality building early this morning. While the search continued in the building blockaded by the police, the houses of Sur Co- Mayor Filiz Buluttekin and Municipal Councilor Yılmaz Eken was raided by the police.
It was stated that a gun was held to Co-Mayor Buluttekin's head while she was being taken into custody. Democratic Districts Party (DBP) Co-Chair and HDP Diyarbakır MP Saliha Aydeniz announced it from her Twitter account.
Aydeniz said: "They laid Sur Municipality Co-Mayor #FilizBuluttekin on the ground and held a gun to her head while they took her into custody! You could not win the elections, you are trying to get back at the elected represantatives of the people. You should know that you will never win any elections here."
