DİYARBAKIR - The demonstration that have been continuing in front of HDP Diyarbakır Provincial building have turned into a theater play. Harun Açan who joined PKK from Germany and has been living in Federated Kurdistan District, was presented as the success of the demonstration when he failed to go back to Germany but caught and brought to Turkey.
Some families claiming their children have been kidnapped to join the PKK, have been doing a sit in in front of HDP Diyarbakır Provincial building since September 3, 2019.The demonstration supported by AKP Chair Tayyip Erdoğan and which Minister of Interrior personally visited for support, continues with fictional scenes. The demonstration which is supported by a special team inside the police have staged another play.
A couple, Metin and Necla Açan who was brought from Bingöl to join the sit in, have been sitting in front of HDP building for their son Harun Açan (28) who joined PKK from Germany in 2016 when he was 26.The couple claimed that their son have gone to Irak from Germany in 2016 and was kidnapped by PKK there.
HE IS HELD AT BİNGÖL SECURITY DIRECTORATE
Harun Açan who fleed from the organization and had been living in Federated Kurdistan Distrcit for a year, had surrendered to Turkey on February 4 in Habur Border Gate and was brought to Diyarbakır Security Directorate and met with his family there. Açan who was brought together with his family in a studio prepared inside the police station was brought to Bingöl after being filmed by more than 10 TV channels. Harun Açan who surrendered is known to be held at Bingöl Security Directorate.
'FAMILY TRIED TO SEND HIM BACK TO GERMANY'
A relative of the family who did not want to reveal their name, stating that Harun and Hakan brothers voluntarily joined the PKK on different dates, said Harun's family tried to send Harun back to Germany. The family member in question said: "The two brothers joined the PKK voluntarily. Hakan joined in 2012, and Harun joined in 2016. Harun had been in contact with his family for the last year. We knew taht he fleed from the organization and had been living in Iraq. The family wanted to send him back to Germany. The police officers who persuaded the family to come and join the sit in in front of the HDP building, said they could bring their son back to Turkey.The family, who accepted this, went to Diyarbakır on 13 January. Other sons are still in the organization."
