VAN- The funeral of the firefighter Mehmet Can Daşdemir, who were stuck under the avalanche, which had caused the death of 41 people in Van's Bahçesaray highway, was reached after 40 days.

The funeral of Mehmet Can Daşdemir, who stuck under the avalanche that had happened on the Van-Bahçesaray highway on February 4 and 5, was reached. In the avalanche 41 people had lost their lives. According to the statement made by Van Governorate it was stated that: "The road was closed on the Bahçesaray highway on the grounds of security after the avalanche that occurred between  February 4-5. Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) and Highway Teams, who have been searching in the area for 3 days, reached the inanimate body of Mehmet Can Daşdemir, who was under the avalanche. Daşdemir's body was sent to the forensic medicine institution".
