HABER MERKEZİ - HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan said, "Our door is open to all opposition parties" regarding the discussions of alliances.

Peoples' Democratic Party Co-chair Pervin Buldan visited Kars Provincial Organization as part of the Democratic Struggle Program. Speaking at the visit, Buldan made important statements regarding the debates on alliances.

Speaking of the stripping of the MP ststus of CHP and HDP Mps, Buldan protested that the CHP's Enis Berberoğlu was released due to coronavirus outbreak while Leyla Güven and Musa Farisoğlu weren't, Buldan said: "“Leyla Güven and Musa Farisoğulları, Selahattin Demirtaş, Figen Yüksekdağ, Sebahat Tuncel. remains in prison. When we say that a separate law is applied to the HDP, we mean it. The virus does not discriminate why people are in prison. It doesn't discriminate if you are with the HDP or CHP. If you have a little conscience left in you, and you say you are a democrat, our friends in prison must be released urgently."

Milletvekillerinin, Meclis üyeliğinin düşürülerek tutuklanmasına değinen Buldan, CHP’li Enis Berberoğlu’nun salgın nedeniyle tahliye edilmesi ancak Leyla Güven ve Musa Farisoğulları’nın tahliye edilmemesine tepki gösteren Buldan, “Leyla Güven ve Musa Farisoğulları, Selahattin Demirtaş, Figen Yüksekdağ, Sebahat Tuncel gibi, cezaevinde kalmaya devam ediyor. HDP’ye ayrı bir hukuk uygulanıyor derken, bunu kastediyoruz. Virüs cezaevlerinde adli ve siyasi ayrımı yapmıyor. HDP’li yada CHP’li ayrımı yapmıyor. Virüs cezaevlerinde ayrım yapmadan, bütün insanlara bulaşma tehlikesi yaşıyor. Biraz vicdanınız varsa, biraz demokratım diyorsanız, cezaevlerinde kalan arkadaşlarımızın acilen tahliye edilmesi gerekiyor” dedi.

YOU CAN'T CONDEMN HDP

Buldan said: "Now they expect HDP to kneel against these pressures. Sorry, but HDP is the 3rd biggest party in Turkey. Around 7 million people voted for HDP. They are discussing in TV shows if HDP will be closed or not. HDP does not consist of four walls. You can not close it down or condemn HDP. All of these are indication of how desperate AKP is. They are trying to criminalize HDP. HDP grows stronger as AKP is weakening. We are the guarantors of peace, democracy and freedoms. We have shown this to the whole country in the recent elections. We showed the people that we are the hope in june elections. This is why they fear us. HDP will be a candidate to administer the country in the upcoming elections. Attacks against our party never stopped. This country does not belong to you alone.

Buldan continued: "This party that millions of people votes for will open its doors to all parties paving the way for democracy. Anyone who would like to come is wellcomed. This is plain and simple. No one will negotiate with HDP behind closed doors. Our people does not accept that. Only by raising our democratic struggle can we destroy fascism. Our doors are open for all political parties who want to ally with us."
