ANKARA – While the police continue the HDP Headquaters building, lawyer Yunus Emre Şahan who was battered by the police, was rushed to hospital with a head trauma.

 

Entrance and exit to the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Headquarters was blocked by the police. The police, who attacked the lawyers who wanted to enter the headquarters of the party, battered Lawyer Yunus Emre Şahan and the distributor of Yeni Yaşam Yaşam Newspaper, Mehmet Sait Sırdaş, and detained them hadcuffing both from behind.

 

The police, who detained them, tried to prevent the press from shooting.

 

LAWYER RUSHED TO HOSPITAL WITH HEAD TRAUMA 

 

Lawyer Şahan, who was battered by the police, was referred to neurosurgery department at the hospital. In the report given to Şahan at Gazi Mustafa Kemal Occupational and Environmental Diseases Hospital, it was stated that he had abrasions on his wrists because of the zip cuffs, that his hands were numb, he was suffering from head truama and maxillofacial trauma therefore he should be examined  by the neurosurgery department.

 

It was learned that two people were released from detention, and 7 people were detained.

 

The police blockade continues.
