NEWS CENTER - It was stated that in Zap, where intense clashes are taking place, some special sergeants attempted to escape.
The attacks launched by Turkey on April 17 in Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn regions in the Federated Kurdistan Region in cooperation with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) continue. Although 23 days have passed since the attacks that started with intense bombardments, Turkey could not get any results and had to withdraw from many points. According to Fırat News Agency (ANF) reporting from the ground, the Turkish Armed Forces used chemical weapons in Kurojahro, Werxelê, Martyr Şahin, Kûnîşka and Girê Ortê regions. ANF also stated that at least 300 soldiers have lost their lives in the conflicts in the region so far.
ZAP SYNDROME
The village guards, who were deployed across the border, noted that there were violent clashes in Zap and that the sergeants had arguments with their superiors. The guards stated that the sergeants who were sent to Zap, which they stated to be a hot conflict zone, were experiencing psychological problems and this situation led to discussions among the soldiers. The guards asked the sergeantswhat they were doing there and attempted to escape. The guards recorded that a sergeant who was trying to escape was shot in the foot by a petty officer.
