The attacks, launched by Turkey in cooperation with the KDP on the Avaşîn, Zap and Metîna regions of the Federated Kurdistan Region, continue. Academic Kamuran Berwari evaluated the attacks in the Behdinan region to Rojnews. Berwari stated that the main purpose of the attacks is to invade the Federated Kurdistan Region and especially the Behdinan Region. Berwari said, "Preparations for the invasion are being made, Behdinan has a special importance because it is important in terms of borders and economy. The people of Behdinan are in a tight situation due to the Turkish attacks. The people of Behdinan are the people who suffered the most from this attack."

'THEY CAN NOT INVADE KURDISTAN IF THEY DON'T HAVE SUPPORT''

Reminding the support given by the Federated Kurdistan Region to Turkey, Berwari said, “Undoubtedly, if Turkey does not receive support from the Kurdistan Region, it cannot enter the region even for an inch and invade the lands of the Kurdistan Region because the federal system emerged in this region after the collapse of the Iraqi dictator regime in 2003.”

'INTERNAL TREACHERY SHOULD BE DESTROYED'

Stating that the society should be warned at this point, Berwari continued: “In order to destroy the internal betrayal, the society must be warned and the occupation of the lands of the Federated Kurdistan Region must be stopped. These attacks have nothing to do with the PKK. The issue is that the Kurds and Kurdistan is in danger. All components must fulfill their responsibilities because even the nature, trees and animals of Kurdistan are burned in the bombings. Especially the professors at the universities should not remain silent, the public should be warned against the invasion and raise awareness.”
