ISTANBUL - Many people, including journalists and HDP executives and members, were detained in simultaneous home raids in Istanbul.
Simultaneous operations were carried out on many homes by the police early in the morning in Istanbul.
While the houses were stormed during the raid, it was learned that many people, including journalist Saliha Aras from the Democratic Modernity Magazine, provincial and district administrators and members of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), were detained. While the reason for their detention could not be learned, it was stated that the number of detentions could increase.
The detainees whose names have been learned are as follows: "HDP Provincial Organisation Co-Spokesperson Besra İşsever, HDP Üsküdar District Co-chair Aysel Özbey, Erkan Tarım, Mümin Odabaş, Harun Bağatur, Enes Özdaş, Ercan Özer and Saliha Aras."
