HAKKARI - A new operation was launched after yesterday's clashes in the villages of Derebanî, Rewşene and Derya in Şemdinli.

 

Intense clashes broke out between HPG members and soldiers in the villages of Rewşene, Derya and Dêrabani in Hakkari's Şemdinli district at around 17:00 yesterday. The rural area was bombed by the TSK uninterruptedly during the clashes. It was noted that the remains of 2 people who lost their lives in the conflict between Derya village and Dêrebanî villages were taken to Şemdinli State Hospital. It was also stated that many soldiers and rangers were injured in the clashes. It was stated that the injured soldiers and rangers were brought to the Field Hospital in Yüksekova District Gendarmerie Command to be treated.

 

MILITARY MOBILISATION CONTINUES

 

After intense clashes, a new military operation was launched in Derya, Dêrebanî, Rewşene, Seranser, Nêrdoşe and Kapma Diriyan regions. A large number of armored vehicles and helicopters were deployed to the operation area from Yüksekova. Drone and helicopter mobility still continues in the areas where the military operation was launched.

 

MILITARY SHIPMENT TO MOUNTAIN SIPÊREZ

 

The operation launched by the TAF in the area of Sipêrêz Mountain in Hakkari's Yüksekova district on May 31 continues on its 21st day. Operation includes Pagê, Tiloran a Jêr û Jor, Kuçe, Zîzan, Memkava, Meşkan, Kêlban, Yekmala Jor û Jêr, Darê, Kaportê, Çardiwar, Mûşan villages, as well as Tajdîn, Sipêrêz, Omerê mountain, Pagê and Topizawa regions. As part of the operations, soldiers were deployed to the area in Tiloran village by helicopter, and the village and its surroundings were surrounded by soldiers.
