ANKARA - Ill prisoner Aysel Tuğluk appeared on sound and video information system (SEGBIS) to give her statement at the Kobané Case hearing with the help of her lawyers.
14th hearing of the Kobané Case where 108 people, 21 of whom remains imprisoned are on trial for the protests took place between October 6-8, 2014 against the ISIS attack on Kobané.
Ill prisoner and politician Aysel Tuğluk participated in the hearing to give her statement from the prison she's being held via SEGBIS. Speaking from Kandıra Prison, Tuğluk is accompanied by her lawyers.
Tuğluk had difficulty speaking and understanding the presiding judge's questions. The head of the court asked Tuğluk about some of the news content of some interviews she gave in the past. Tuğluk said, “I have a special situation. I cannot express myself because I am sick. I will make my defense later due to my situation."
Lawyer Kenan Maçoğlu stated that a new report would come about Tuğluk and stated that she is in no condition to defend herself.
