URFA - The Şenyaşar family, who has been staging a sit-in for more than a year, called the Ministry of Justice and Health and asked, "Why don't they see this mother who has been staging a sit-in at the Urfa Courthouse for 479 days?"

 

The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 479. The sit-in was launched on  March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018.The family, who came to the Urfa Courthouse from their house in Suruç early in the morning, started the sit-in.

 

The family said, “Our sit-in continues on its 479th day. Either justice or death will stop me from sitting here”, and the family opened banners and informed those entering the courthouse about the case.

The family shared the statements of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Health on the attack on a health worker in Urfa on their Twitter account, "They are making a statement about the irregularities and unlawfulness in Urfa. Why do they not see this mother who has been staging sit-in at the Urfa Courthouse for 479 days. Isn't she a citizen of this country?"
